The actual writing usually doesn't take that much time, about 1-3 hours per 400 word web page. However, the creative aspect involved in developing the content may take more time.
In other words, the closer the content that you provide is to the final content, the less expensive it will be be. It is far easier (less expensive) to work from a longer document to condense it (Format), than to work from multiple documents to integrate information to create content (Compose). Content requiring additional research and original writing is, as you might expect, the most time consuming and therefore most costly (Author).
