After registering your domain name, you can start to take advantage of e-mail using your new domain at "email@example.com". No longer will you look unprofessional using that free e-mail address which came standard from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or webmail provider like AOL, Yahoo! or Hotmail. Registering a domain name distinguishes your business from others on the Internet.
Q) What is the difference between .com, .net, .org extensions?

The most popular domain names are still .coms since that is what most of us are used to seeing and hearing. As stated earlier, we highly recommend protecting yourself by registering every variation of your domain name. Remember, in today's world a domain name is as important, if not more than your business license. You may also want to sign up and be notified as soon as the new top-level domains become available.
Q) How many characters can use for my new domain name?
A) Currently you can register domain names up to 67 characters in length (including the period and extension). Now having the ability to register longer domain names can be very useful in getting product or service messages across to your customers. Now is the time to get creative before someone else takes the domain name you've always wanted. Register you new domain name today!

Q) May I register more than one domain name?
A) Yes. You may register as many as you want. As a matter of fact it's to your benefit to register as many variations of your domain name as possible. For example, if your domain name is promoteone.com, you would be wise to also register promote1.com. Try to register every variation of your domain name especially if your domain name is easily misspelled.
Q) What if I register a domain name and realize that I misspelled it after it's been processed, may I change it?
A) No. All registrations are final and are not refundable. Take care in spelling your domain name correctly before finalizing your registration.
Q) Will I receive a confirmation after I register my domain name?
A) Yes, after you register a domain name you will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation. This e-mail will contain the domain name you registered as well as additional information to help you get your web site on the Internet. Should you not receive an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours of registering your domain name, then please e-mail our support department. Please don't forget to provide us with the domain name in question, your name and phone number.

Q) I've registered a domain name with another company. May I transfer my domain(s) to you and take advantage of your services?
A) Yes. You can. We will assist in the transfer process if you like. The only limitation is one year will be added to your domain registration length. So if you currently have six months remaining on your domain, we will add 12 months to it and you will not have to renew for 18 months.
Q) What is a Whois Search?
A) Whois search will display the current registrant or contact information for any registered domain name. Generally there are four contacts for every domain name. The registrant, administrative contact, billing contact and technical contact. For most, the person registering the domain name should be all four. We will update that information as you need. Private registration is highly recommended and included in our base domain registration rates.
